We are just too many on this small planet. Overpopulation is the result of the competition between nations. More people -> more potential soldiers. More consumption -> bigger economy -> greater potential for weapon production. Who stays behind, will be eaten. No choice. To survive we must multiply and produce. Be a hero – buy and produce! We are doomed… The world cannot be fixed without fixing the competition between nations :(. Are there any optimists?
Earth is a living organism which evolved its own immunity system. Problem of overpopulation used to be solved with plagues. We think that thanks to hygiene, vaccinations and medicine we found workarounds. We may be surprised. Another line of defense is a war. Greater deviation causes stronger reaction to restore the balance. A big war is coming. We do not have to worry about Earth. It will be fine. It knows how to take care for itself and deal with pathological – cancer like – growth…
