War doesn’t happen only on the battlefield, but in ours minds and hearts. We are pushed to become more radical, violent or indifferent. How to stop the anxiety spreading? How to secure victims against the violence? My first step is to calm down my own mind. Thus, I gain more clarity in what needs to be done. My method is breath counting. You are invited to try.
Together, with a group of friends, we counted one million breaths with intention to make the World a more peaceful place. This project was started because of anxiety spreading caused by coronavirus pandemic. Although, anxiety has many sources. Today, my heart supports people involved in the war in Ukraine.
I direct my kindness towards both nations: Ukrainian and Russian. Ordinary Russian don’t want this war. We see many protests. It is visible that even Russian soldiers are surprised and disoriented. They didn’t expect that they would be used to invade Ukraine. I’m not willing to let anyone convince me that he/her is my enemy. On the deepest level, this situation in one big misunderstanding. I’m sending a lot of love to Vladimir Putin, too. There is completely no reason that he has to be afraid of me. It doesn’t mean that I’m going to be indifferent. West should firmly react to this situation. My intention is to be directed by care, not fear or anger. If we don’t get involved into hatred, we all will be winners of this war. Otherwise, it will be only endless escalation.
You are welcome to join this peacekeeping operation. Take at least 3 deep breaths. Let me know about it. I’ll be happy to note your contribution to our list.
